ART TALKS: Arte Sonora, Gênero e Linguagens, an event organised by the Brazilian Low Fi - Processos Criativos in partnership with the Mexican program of mobility and artistic residencies Flotar, supported by the Goethe-Institut Salvador-Bahia.

The initiative aims to promote an exchange environment in which strategies for the insertion of women in the context of electronic and experimental art in Brazil will be discussed, based on the personal experiences of each panel guest and highlighting the events already produced by Flotar in Chicago and Mexico City.

Participants on the spot include the curator Juci Reis (Ju Ci), the visual artist and producer May HD, as well as the sound artists Barti Sena, Marina Mapurunga and Milena Kipfmüller.VJing by Victoria Zacconi Aquino.

The brazilian composers Marcela Lucatelli, Renata Roman, Tânia Neiva, Isabel Nogueira and Natacha Maurer was part an online panel.

Art Talks seeks to stimulate and strengthen the work of Brazilian artists, promote national and international cultural exchange, and offer the public of the city of Salvador - Bahia an exposure to creators of diverse areas through our regular programming that includes concerts, workshops, and expositions
